Overview
Checkout+ is a consumer-paid returns model where customers can pay a small fee when checking out on your website to secure free returns later for their order. This helps retailers reduce the burden of high return costs, as the fee contributes toward covering return expenses.
How Checkout+ works?
When customers check out their order from your online store, they have the option to opt in for Checkout+ or to proceed without opting in.
If the customer opts in for Checkout+, they will be asked to pay for a small fee upfront, and will be eligible for a free returns on their order.
If the customer doesn’t opt in for Checkout+, their eligibility for a free return will follow your standard policy rule settings and may be required to pay for the return shipping, and related handling fees.
