What happens when I process returns from markets without Checkout+?

On the FlexReturn plan, you will be charged a standard USD1.00 per return when you process returns from Shopify markets where Checkout+ is not activated through PostCo. This is referred to as the Non-Checkout+ Return Fee.


How are Non-Checkout+ Return Fees calculated?

The Non-Checkout+ Return Fee is calculated daily based on the previous day’s submitted returns, and is billed directly to your Shopify account at 12:00 AM (UTC).

Example:

  • Standard Non-Checkout+ Return Fee: USD1.00

  • Number of non-Checkout+ returns submitted: 9 return orders
    (Monday, 10 Nov 2025)

Calculation: USD1.00 x 9 = USD9.00

PostCo will bill USD9.00 to your Shopify account at 12:00AM (UTC) on Tuesday, 11 Nov 2025.

  1. How will I be charged if I’m processing returns from both Checkout+ markets and non-Checkout+ markets?

    Returns from markets with and without Checkout+ enabled are billed separately.

    For markets with Checkout+ enabled, a portion of the Checkout+ Fee and Handling Fee collected from shoppers will be billed to your account - refer to this article for more details.

    For markets without Checkout+ enabled, a Non-Checkout+ Return Fee will be billed to your account according to the calculation here.

  2. Will I be charged the Non-Checkout+ Return Fee if I’m on the standard Pro, Premium or Enterprise plan?

    No, the Non-Checkout+ Return Fee is applicable only to brands on PostCo’s FlexReturn plan - your account would not be charged if you’re on our standard Pro, Premium & Enterprise subscription plans.
