Can customers return/exchange items of the same order at different time?

A customer might return items from the same order at different times for several reasons:

  1. Damaged or faulty items: They may initially return only visibly damaged or faulty items, and later discover issues with other items.

  2. Receiving items at different time: Shopify allows brands to fulfill items in an order at different times. If a customer receives their items in separate shipments, they might return them separately based on when they received the items.

Scenario

A customer places an order for three items. They initially decide to return one item immediately due to faulty items, but later, they realise another item doesn't fit them well. In both cases, the customer can create separate return requests for each item at different time, even though they were part of the same original order.

How can customers return multiple items from the same order?

Enable multi-returns per order in your PostCo dashboard. This can be found under the Return Settings.
