Can my customers return an item that they've exchanged for?

When a customer initiates an exchange request, a new exchange order is created in your Shopify store. By default, customers are only allowed to return an item once.

However, if the exchanged item still doesn't meet their needs, they may want to submit another return request for the new item.

How to allow customers to return the new item?

In your PostCo dashboard under the Exchange Settings, you have the option to allow customers to either exchange or refund an exchanged item.

Exchange on exchanges

With exchange on exchanges enabled, customers can submit an exchange request for the exchanged item they received. You can set a limit on how many times customers can request an exchange on exchanged items.

Refund on exchanges

With refund on exchanges enabled, customers can submit a refund request for the exchanged item they received. The available refund options (store credit or original payment method) depend on the settings you've enabled.
