Routing return shipments to different return locations

Edited

Setting up multiple return locations in PostCo allows you to direct return shipments to the most appropriate designated location. By setting up multiple return locations, you can:

  • Automatically direct return shipments to your preferred location based on customers' shipping country.

  • Reduce the cost and transit time of return shipments by sending them to strategically chosen destinations.

Setting up multi-return locations

Adding new return location

To add a new return location, go to Return Locations and click on the 'new return location' button. Location name is only meant for your reference internally. Go ahead and fill in the return address and save!

Managing return locations

You must have at least one default return location to receive shipments. To enhance efficiency, you can adjust your default return location according to market demands.

Change default return location

Updating your default return location is just a few clicks away. Here's how you can get it updated:

Direct return shipments to your preferred location

With policy rules, you can specify which types of return shipments should be directed to specific locations. Without these rules, all returns will be routed to your default return location.

Route shipments based on shipping country

For example, if you have return locations set up in the United States and Malaysia, you can configure your policy rules so that returns from the United States and Canada are routed to the US warehouse.

Otherwise, all other returns will be directed to the Malaysia warehouse.
